Although all of Hillarie’s nutritional counseling sessions are customized based on each client’s personal goals, the basics of healthy eating and the importance of balancing meals is stressed at every appointment.

Individual Nutritional Counseling Sessions
Whether your goal is weight loss (decreasing bodyfat), weight gain (increasing lean muscle mass), or weight management, Hillarie can provide the guidance you need to reach your fitness goals.  Age, health, fitness level, and fitness goals are all taken into consideration.  You can choose to cover topics like:

  3. Sports Nutrition – Fueling The Body For Optimal Performance
  4. Healthy Eating For Kids or Teen Athletes

  7. Cleansing/Detox Program

Your initial Individual Nutritional Counseling Session lasts about an hour and a half, and provides you with plenty of handouts so you can continue to read and absorb the information long after your session is over.  Remember this is a “lifestyle change” so you’ll need to make changes gradually.  At the end of your first session, you will not only have the motivation you need to succeed, but you will leave with a sample daily diet, based on foods that YOU (personally) would enjoy eating.  Once you have completed your initial nutritional session, follow-up sessions are suggested so your food log can be monitored and success can be achieved.  If you sign up for personal training services, Hillarie offers the convenience of combining follow-up nutritional sessions into your training sessions so you don’t have to set up separate appointments and incur additional fees.  Meal planning is also discussed at the initial session – but if you feel you need more help in this area, additional sessions can certainly be arranged.  The purpose of these sessions would be to target “meal planning” in detail.  You would be given healthy recipes, food-shopping lists, and Hillarie will also help you outline your weekly meals in an organized and cost-effective manner. And Hillarie offers the convenience of being able to purchase nutritional supplements and healthy low-glycemic snacks to get you on the right track. She carries a great line of healthy foods and supplements.

Group Nutritional Counseling
Sometimes a group of friends or a family may choose to do nutritional counseling together.  This is a great way to support one another on a healthy eating program.  The group nutritional sessions provide healthy eating guidelines and generic sample diets to help you to understand how to implement these new concepts into your daily diet.  Group Nutritional Counseling is a great way to get the information you need at a discounted price (since each person would only pay a portion of the total fee).

Nutritional & Fitness Lectures (for large groups)
In addition to providing counseling to individual clients, Hillarie has given nutritional lectures to small corporations, schools and sports teams.  Hillarie is available to speak to large groups on a variety of topics within the fitness arena.  Participants are able to make lifestyle changes in order to “get healthier”.  Nutrition & Fitness lectures usually run about 1.5 hours, and informative handouts are provided for all attendees.  These lectures can be customized to cover topics like healthy eating, weight loss, sports nutrition, weight training, cardiovascular training, meal planning, etc.   All lectures can be customized based on age and fitness level of attendees.  All nutritional lectures cover the simple “science” behind healthy eating, which makes it easy for everyone to understand.  A list of resources is also provided (i.e. names & authors of fitness & nutrition-related books, as well as websites they can log onto for more info).  A brief question and answer period is also included at the end of the lecture. 

Sports Nutrition For Sports Teams
Hillarie will come to speak to your sports team to educate your players on sports nutrition (since it can be quite different than just “healthy eating”).  Hillarie works with elite athletes and provides them with cutting edge sports nutrition information so they learn how to fuel their bodies for optimal performance.  Some athletes need to gain weight (lean muscle mass), and others need to decrease bodyfat.  Since Hillarie has provided many NFL Combine athletes with nutritional counseling to help them meet their goals, she is sure to help each player on your team reach their goals.  Hillarie can also put your team in contact with the best professional athlete trainers at the TEST Sports Club in Martinsville, New Jersey.

Prices for sports nutrition lectures vary according to the size of your group, and nutrition handouts are provided for all attendees.
